The Story utilizes 12 gauge material above industry standards, making it heavy-duty and durable. Measuring 2" in thickness, the doors include steel thresholds, bullet hinges with grease fittings, pre-drilled tabs on the jamb for easy installation. Furthermore, the 5/8" dual pane operable glass designs are equipped with dual sealing to effectively reduce heat and air leakage, delivering an energy-efficient product. Additionally, we include Polyurethane dual foam weather stripping inside each frame, helping reduce hot and cold weather transfer. To help prevent infiltration of sound, light, drafts, insects, moisture, smoke or fire a door sweep is included, and installed at the bottom of your door to help seal gaps.
